For my final project I decided to do option three, which is to build a virtual space. I'm a filmmaker and one of the big things that comes with filming is sitting hours upon hours at your desk editing. I wanted to make a cool bedroom space that would have a nice setup for me to edit. I wanted it to look homely and that the computer was on, ready to go. I also wanted to put up some of my own photos on the wall, like I would in a real bedroom that I was living in. My main theme for this space was simplistic, modern, and rustic. The bed-frame, dresser, and desk, are all very simplistic but with the contrast of dark wood, black/grey and some metal through out the room, it gives the feel of a rustic place. With the addition of three monitors, a futuristic light, and some frame-less pictures, I thought that would show some modernity to it too.
The hardest part of this project was definitely the lighting. I had never really messed around with lighting the scene properly and making it loo realistic, so this was hard, but also the most rewarding of them all. The final renders look awesome and I'm glad I put so much time into getting the lighting and textures right. From the monitors being lit, to the pc shining inside the desk, to the window, I had to have different settings with led, to regular lighting, to get it right.
My process was pretty simple, I planned out what would go in the room, then went one by one, starting with the bed, around the room making objects. The door was a special challenge as the door handle took awhile to look right. I would've liked to add a little bit more, but as I made more objects my computer began to struggle, and nearing the end it kept crashing or being too laggy to add anymore.
Lastly I downloaded three projects that other people made off the autodesk library. This being the mouse, keyboard, and chair. I knew the chair was a big part of this room, and to make the room look realistic I wanted to leave that to a pro, so that I wouldn't mess it up. I think it came out great and with the addition of the mouse and keyboard on the desk it adds some more to fill up the room and add realism.
Special thanks to: Inmaculada Castilllo, Addam Roberts, and Sai Srujan for the mouse, keyboard, and chair.

Project 2
In this project I chose to model Stevie's skateboard from mid90's. I then decided to render the skateboard in places you would typically not expect it. For the first one I chose on a beach, then I put the board on a snowy frozen over lake, and lastly on top of a mountain. I found these places added a little humor to the project because it doesn't make any sense for the board to be on the top of a mountain for example. I imagine Stevie was skateboarding and all of a sudden teleports/wakes up in these locations and is very confused what happened. The hardest part of this project was to model the trucks which I don't think are perfect but get the point across.

Project 1
- My original object was a simple cup. I wanted to print this because it is basic and I think it would be useful to print more cups rather than go buy more. I think i came very close. The scale is very off as it is tiny compared to the actual cup, but the actual dimensions and shape of the cup are are correct, just as a whole it is scaled down.
- The actual shape worked very well but it was too thin and the printer struggled a couple times. Next time I would make it thicker and scale the whole thing up.
- It was a good first try I just wish it hadn't messed up in the printer several times or I would've had time to make a scaled up version.
- The original is the red, 3d print is in white.
